Fishing Derby w/o Meg & Geoff

A gorgeous winter weekend on Dunmore for the annual fishing derby. But celebration was cut short, when Meg&Geoff in the '95 Volvo were rear-ended by a big mean SUV, totalling the car, ending their trip - but hopefully not causing any lasting injury. We saw Dave and Megan, Jeff Powers, the Bierschenks & the Meffes. Mom had big party w chili, bisque, pea soup & don't forget wine and cookies. Next year, Meggy! We missed you.

We DID It!!!

We commemorated the historic events of January 20, 2009 with the Indian Trail Inaugural Ball. Ladies were attired in striking & colorful, sequin bedazzling dresses - while the boys came in clean shirts & a few stylish jackets. We welcomed Don & Debbie, Mary B, Doug & Chela, Andrew & Bethany Menkart, Ken Scupp, Gary & Nancy Meffe, and of course, Tony & Carmella. Some knockout hors d'oeuvres, lots of bubbly. Barack & Michelle were the stars - an incredible couple, whom we applaud & cheer! GOBAMA!!

3 Night New Year's!

New Year's Eve on Dunmore was just fine - so much fun we kept going for 2 more nights. Weather on the Eve was 'challenging' - zero point double squat degrees and blizzard like gales. No way to light the bonfire - or fireworks. So, drank bubbly, drank more bubbly, and made executive decision to re-convene 2 nights later. Balmy! 20+ degrees and tropical breezes... Great bonfire, awesome fireworks, and nobody lost - but we did manage to polish off most of the bubbly!
Happy New Year All!

Mainiac's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Geoff!
Thanks to Geoff, Meg & Lizzie for sharing a great Christmas-birthday combo celebration with the gang. Started with some awesome lobster & it kept getting better. A great turkey dinner the next night - with all the trimmings. Joe & Aze, Robin & Giorgi lent metro flair. Lizzie had the felines corraled, sort of. While there were some disputation on house temperature - too hot? no, too cold? And a couple of near misses & close shaves in the bathrooms, we got along just great. Excepting the Taboo smash-down, when team Tony decimated (the sadly unprepared) team Carmella.
To All - a Happy New Year!!!
